Loosie — Cigarette & Tobacco Log

Privacy.

Loosie is a personal cigarette and tobacco log for iPhone and Apple Watch, made by Ilia Usatov ("I", "me"). This policy is short because the app is simple: Loosie collects no data about you. None.

No data collection

Loosie has no analytics, no tracking, no advertising, no accounts, no sign-in, and no third-party SDKs. The app has no server backend and sends nothing to me or to anyone else. I cannot see your entries, and neither can anybody else.

Your data stays on your devices

Everything you record in Loosie — entries, timestamps, notes, cost settings — is stored locally on your iPhone and, if you use the watch app, on your Apple Watch. The two sync directly with each other through Apple's device-to-device connection; the data does not pass through any server of mine.

iCloud sync is not used in the current version. If a future version adds optional iCloud sync, it will be off by default, will use only your own private iCloud account, and this policy will be updated before that version ships.

CSV export is yours to control

Loosie Pro can export your log as a CSV file. The file is generated on your device and leaves it only when you choose to share or save it through the iOS share sheet. I never receive a copy.

Purchases

The optional one-time Loosie Pro purchase is processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. I never see your payment details or Apple ID. Apple's own privacy policy governs that transaction.

No sale or sharing of data

I do not sell, share, rent, or trade any data — there is nothing to sell or share, because nothing is collected.

Age requirement

Loosie deals with tobacco-related content and is intended for adults aged 18 or older (or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction, if higher). It is not directed at children, and since the app collects no data, no children's data is collected either.

Deleting your data

Your data belongs to you. Delete individual entries in the app at any time, or remove the app from your devices to erase everything it stored.

Changes to this policy

If the app ever changes in a way that affects privacy (for example, optional iCloud sync), this policy will be updated and the effective date above revised before that change ships. The current version always lives at this address.
