‹ Health Parcel

These terms govern your use of Health Parcel, an iPhone and iPad app made by Ilia Usatov (“I”, “me”). By downloading or using the app, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

Apple's standard licence

Health Parcel is licensed, not sold, to you. Unless these terms say otherwise, your licence is Apple's Standard End User Licence Agreement (EULA), which applies to apps distributed through the App Store. Where the two conflict, Apple's EULA prevails for the licence itself.

What the app is — and is not

Health Parcel is an export utility. It copies data that Apple Health already holds on your device into CSV, JSON, and Markdown files, and it keeps track of which periods you have exported.

It is not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat, monitor, or prevent any condition, and it offers no medical interpretation, analysis, or advice. Numbers shown in the app and written into files are copies of what Apple Health recorded — nothing more. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional about your health; never rely on this app for a medical decision.

Your data and your responsibility

The exported files are yours, and so is what happens to them:

What the export series does and does not guarantee

The app remembers, per preset, the date through which you have exported, and defaults the next export to the period since then. Consecutive parcels for the same preset and detail level are designed to fit together by measurement date: without gaps, without overlaps, and without repeated records.

The honest limits of that guarantee:

Availability

The app is provided as it is today. I may change, suspend, or discontinue it, or any of its features, and I do not promise uninterrupted availability, compatibility with every future version of iOS, or that any specific feature will keep existing.

Tips

Health Parcel is free. You may optionally leave a tip through the App Store. Tips are voluntary consumable purchases, they unlock nothing, they entitle you to no feature, service, or support level, and they are handled entirely by Apple. Refunds are governed by Apple's App Store policy; I cannot issue them.

Acceptable use

Use the app only for your own lawful purposes and only with data you are entitled to export. Do not attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or modify the app except where that right cannot be excluded by law, and do not redistribute it or use it in a way that breaks the App Store terms or applicable law.

Intellectual property

The app, its name, its design, and its code belong to me. These terms give you a personal, non-transferable right to use the app under Apple's EULA; they transfer no ownership. The data you export is, of course, yours.

Third-party services

The app relies on Apple services — HealthKit, the App Store, StoreKit, Files, and the system share sheet. Their own terms and policies govern them, and I am not responsible for them. Apple is not a party to these terms and has no obligation to provide support for the app.

Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The app is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and accuracy or completeness of exported data. To the fullest extent permitted by law, I am not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of data, arising from your use of the app or from decisions made on the basis of exported files. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, and if you are a consumer, your statutory rights are unaffected.

Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated as the app evolves; the effective date above will change and the current version always lives at this address. Continuing to use the app after an update means you accept the revised terms.
